Christmas 2020 – Covid lockdown with no one worshipping in the building, we invited parishioners to share a photo of their Nativity sets. Click on each for a description and family name.

  • Troy and Tracy Knight Family - flexible and reversible - colors change for Advent/Christmas and the main candle reverses to show empty manger
  • Rick and Sandy Losemann's Nativity Set
  • Aaron and Lauren's child friendly, and often-played with Nativity. The angel's name is Twinkle.
  • Bonnie Demyan's set was handed down form her mother
  • Christine Zorn hand painted this set when she was younger, has needed touch up from time to to time
  • Nancy Groff's datedsfrom the 50's or 60"s. Her mother's name is written under each piece because she often loaned it out.

  • Sandra Kull got her set in Bethlehem in 2015. It's carved from the wood of old olive trees

  • Lilianna and Graham Fenton's set belonged to his grandparents in Pittsburgh. It was made of olive wood in Jerusalem.
  • Nancy and Earl Young say their set is 55 years old and they enjoy adding new decorations every year
  • Suzanne Zantop 48-year old figures from the dime store and a stable constructed by my husband from barn wood and bark in Michigan, repaired with wood from our home in Maryland.
  • Don and Linda Greenawalt's outdoor nativity
  • Alex Secor - purchased it 30 years ago from an artist in San Francisco. Colin made the two shepherds and Chelsea made the angel on the right about 25 years ago. Jack Westerlund made the barn for me.
  • My Mom gave this to us the year we were married, 1977. The large pinecones were added from our yard when we lived in Fayetteville, NC in the early 1990's.
  • Pam Windsor's crystal nativity
  • The figures of this Nativity belonged to my husband’s father. We added the ‘manger’ a few years ago, since there wasn’t one. Really don’t know anything else about it, just that is is special for him and my girls, since he died in ‘71. Gina Howard

  • Parish Administrator Susan Robinson's set always as a menagerie. Latest is a llama from a friend's 2019 trip to Peru
