Music plays an integral role in worship at Saint James. We are blessed to have dedicated instrumentalists and soloists who lead music in person. Our choir, along with vocal and instrumental soloists accompanied by organ or piano, draws from Wonder, Love and Praise, The Hymnal 1982, and Lift Every Voice and Sing.
Our Music Director, Michael Morgan, also teaches at St. Ursula School. A native of Perry Hall, Maryland, he attended Baltimore Lutheran High School (now Concordia Preparatory), CCBC–Essex, and Towson University, where he earned a B.A. in Music. Following his Bachelors Degree, Michael earned two graduate certificates at Shenandoah Conservatory focusing on Church Music and Somatic Voiceworks™ (focused on healthy singing skills).
