Music is an essential part of worship at St. James. We’re blessed with instrumentalists and soloists who are leading music either in person or via Zoom at our online services.

When we we able to gather in a building: our adult choir led music at the 10:15 Sunday service from September to May. The volunteers are  supplemented by professional section leaders.

The choir, soloists, and instrumentalists performed at the festival Eucharists on Palm Sunday, Easter, Pentecost and Christmas as well as presenting a Christmas concert in December.

During the summer months vocal and instrumental soloists of all ages and musical styles support the music in the liturgy.

A Christmas concert featuring the choir and insrumentalists under the direction of Michael Morgan took  place each year.  The Deer Creek Chorale Chamber Choir presented a concert each February.

Music Director Michael Morgan teaches at St. Ursula School and Step By Step Learning Center, and is also music director of the Hunt Valley Chorale and the Brightview Avondell Choir.
