Deer Creek Chorale Chamber Choir presents its annual concert at St. James. This year the newly formed Youth Choir will also perform.

The Chamber Choir is a select group of experienced singers (including choir soloists and parishioners Jocelyn Wilhelm, Lee Wolford, Jason Redmond, Margy Hopkins, Chris Martin, and Suzanne Zantop) drawn from the 70-member Deer Choir Chorale under Marty Banghart, Artistic Director and St. James parishioner.

Program features sacred and secular music ranging from the Renaissance to 21st century. A highlight is Famine Song popularized by the group Vida. It speaks to the basket weaving tradition in the Sudan and is accompanied with rain sticks. The newly formed Youth Choir (including 5 Academy students) performs in the second half and the concert concludes with both choirs singing Share the Joy.

A reception follows in MacDonald Hall. Suggested admission is $10 per person or $20 per family. Advance Tickets
